Making Your Business Newsworthy
Another productive Friday morning at Ingroup! 18 members met for our weekly 8–9am catch-up, where we shared 6 referrals and celebrated £2,600 of business generated from past referrals.
We were also treated to a fantastic 10-minute talk from member Karen Barden, who runs a Press, PR and Copywriting business. Karen shared expert tips on getting into the local press — from crafting a standout profile that highlights what you do and what makes you stand out, to spotting the stories journalists love: national angles, awards and recognition, historic links, longevity, or overcoming adversity. She also offered to help members put their profiles together ahead of an exciting newspaper editor visit in September. Insightful and practical. Thanks, Karen!
