MB Digital specialises in the supply and service of office equipment, together with assessing and reducing printing, copying and scanning costs for businesses. Print expenditure is one of the greatest unknown costs and MB Digital can conduct thorough and unbiased print reviews to show how costs can be reduced and controlled.
Background
We are an entirely independent business based in Kendal and all service and maintenance work is carried out by our own, manufacturer-trained engineers. Our dedicated service and support team are on hand to offer daily assistance and ensure your equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
How long has the business been running?
Mike Batty who owns and is major shareholder of MB Digital started selling copiers and typewriters in 1981 under the name Mike Batty Reprographics (MBR) and things have gone on from there.

How important is your role?
I’m completely committed to MB Digital and have a long-running association with the company. This is a very-long established family firm and is totally customer orientated, which suits me down to the ground.
I love being hands-on and dealing with all our customers. I feel valued and trusted and am left to crack on with my work, which is just how I like it.
How many customers do you have?
Currently over 500 but we’re always looking for more.
Who are your customers?
Basically, any business that prints paper. Lots of schools, churches, solicitors and accountants.
