Today, Karen and Billy Magennis, the dynamic duo behind Magennis Plumbing and Heating, treated us to a down-to-earth chat about their company’s journey and how they’re masters at turning the old into something stunningly new. With a history rooted in Ambleside and spanning over 45 years, they’ve been steering the ship since 2018, focusing on quality plumbing and heating services. Their team, featuring Gas Safe certified engineers and an enthusiastic apprentice, is all about top-grade workmanship and learning on the job. They wowed us with before-and-after photos of a renovation project, giving us a glimpse of their ability to completely transform spaces from the ground up.
Diving into the details, they walked us through the complexities of installing underfloor heating and designing custom bathrooms that snugly fit any space. Their presentation also covered the importance of boiler maintenance and the value of a reliable service team, showcasing their commitment to both the technical and customer service aspects of their business. It was a great session, attended by 20 members, generating an impressive £1600 in business from previous referrals and inspiring 10 new referrals.
