Members’ spotlight – Oliver Mullen
In today’s meeting, Oliver, the friendly face from Simpsons & Parsons who many of us know as our go-to insurance broker, delved deep into his personal journey in the insurance industry. Sharing info from his colourful career, he took us from his ambitious younger days making the big move to a major firm, to his heartfelt return to the beloved Lakes.
Oliver has a knack for spotting the diverse range of solutions that insurance can cater to, be it sorting out plumbing issues or safeguarding architectural marvels. But it’s his fervent belief in the irreplaceable value of personal service that truly struck a chord. He is our champion for tailor-made deals and warm, one-on-one service, always underscoring the vital role independent brokers like him play in knitting the local business community closer together.
With 20 members attending today and business generate to a total of £3,480 it was a lively meeting.
