Innovative Building Methods for Enhanced Indoor Environments

The InGroups Architect Chris Granger wowed us as usual with his 10 minute presentation on groundbreaking building methods. He emphasised the use of avant-garde materials that are more tolerant of water vapor, leading to improved internal environments and preventing mold growth on external walls.

Granger highlighted the combination of wood wool boards, wood fiber, and lime plasters for level, insulated surfaces ready for decoration. Additionally, he suggested incorporating Glaspor and Limecrete in floors to avoid moisture entrapment and rising damp.

Crosby and the team at Crosby Granger Architects have successfully implemented these methods in various projects, prioritising occupant well-being and sustainability. Thanks Chris.
