Strong Turnout and £1,200 in Past Business as Steve Barber Showcases 1863 Success Story

This week we welcomed 18 members for a positive and productive meeting, generating four referrals and over £1,200 in past business. Our 10-minute presentation was delivered by group photographer Steve Barber, who shared a detailed case study on his long-standing client, 1863 Restaurant with Rooms in Pooley Bridge. Steve has worked with owners Mark and Ann for 16 years, charting their journey from guest house to award-listed fine dining destination.

Steve highlighted how the quality of his photography has evolved alongside the business itself. As their food, interiors and overall brand have developed, so too has the style, lighting and presentation of the imagery, helping to create a consistent, premium feel across their website, social media and PR. It was a great example of how strong visual content and long-term collaboration can support growth, resilience and reputation in a competitive market.
