Supporting Our Community: Insights from Windermere Food Bank

Andy, a volunteer at Windermere and District Food Bank, joined us to share insights into their essential work. Supporting 25 households weekly, the Food Bank provides emergency food aid and vital advice through Citizens Advice. The group enjoyed hearing about their impactful initiatives, including new premises and stronger community engagement, as well as the challenges they face. Andy also invited input on a proposed patron scheme to ensure ongoing support for this critical service.
