Carer Support South Lakes: Lifeline for 2,000 Unpaid Carers Providing Respite and Fun.

Carer Support South Lakes is a lifeline to nearly 2,000 unpaid adults and children and says three out of five us will, at some point, need to look after a family member or friend.

In its 30-plus years, the charity has supported carers, some as young as five and the oldest aged 98, according to adult carer support practitioner Cheryl Duckworth, who gave us a premier viewing of a new film exploring CSSL’s awesome work.

Touched and humbled by the experiences of selfless carers, we saw how remarkable CSSL is a 24/7 mainstay providing help when it’s needed most, stepping in to give much-needed respite, care – and, importantly, lots of fun.

If a charity needs our support, this is the one that is making a huge difference every hour of every day.
