New Name, Same Team: Ollie’s Ingroup Talk

This week’s 10-minute spot came from Ollie, our resident insurance expert and an Ingroup member since 2019. He talked us through his firm’s rebrand from Simpson & Parsons — established in Kendal back in 1983 — to Jensten Insurance Brokers, which took effect on 10th August.

As Ollie explained, it’s very much the same team in the same office, with the day-to-day service unchanged. What has changed is the weight behind them: Jensten now has around 50 offices and over 1,250 staff across the UK and Ireland, which means better rates from insurers, access to a far wider panel of providers, and faster processes with less admin. As Ollie put it, it’s a bigger name to open doors with — but the same familiar faces on the end of the phone.
