Members’ spotlight – Magennis Plumbing and Heating
During the latest InGroup meeting we had an emotional tribute paid to the late Mike Magennis by Karen and Mike from Magennis Plumbers. They presented a 10-minute journey through Mike’s career, from his early beginnings in plumbing to becoming a vital figure within the business network in the central Lake District after starting Mike Magennis Plumbing.
Mike, who sadly lost his battle with cancer, was fondly remembered as the ‘go-to’ problem solver, a man full of solutions, and someone who greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of the group. His legacy, Magennis Plumbing and Heating, which was rebranded in January 2018, continues to flourish and build robust relationships within the local community and building trade.
The group was thanked by Billy and Karen and the heartfelt condolences expressed by the members echoed their loss and displayed the solidarity within the group. This meeting had an impressive turnout of 19 members, facilitating 9 work referrals, a testament to the strong, supportive network that Mike cherished.
